Sekar.R

Born in 1961 in Tamilnadu Sekar.R has studied art from the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Chennai & Government College of Arts and Crafts Kumbakonam. He is a recipient of the Graphic Research Scholarship from the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi; the Painting Merit Scholarship from the Regional Lalit Kala Akademi in Chennai; and the Graphic Merit Scholarship from the Regional Lalit Kala Akademi in Chennai. His works have a strong graphic quality where the line is the basis and structure of the composition. He has participated in several groups shows and some solo shows. He is currently a lecturer at the Bharathiar Palkalai Koodam in Pondicherry.
